Anam Cara Croft is found on the Rhu peninsula in Loch Inchard. Between Rhiconich and Kinlochbervie in North West Sutherland we offer secluded B&B Croft Stay accommodation with spectacular views and evening meals. We also run The Spice Route providing high quality ethnic food locally.
We have Soay sheep and rare breed pigs, combining traditional crofting techniques such as the harvesting of seaweed and lazy beds with modern technology providing year round horticulture in a polytunnel.
Our food business which has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland’s Kitchen Cafe is listed on TripAdvisor, see our reviews below. We cannot list The Croft Stay as their rules only allow multi-bedroom establishments and our Croft Stay suite caters for just one lucky couple.
Our B&B is perfect for an extended stay as in addition to a lovely double bedroom with views over mountains and the sea loch you have a lounge to relax in and your own kitchenette. We offer evening meals however The Old School Restaurant is also a short walk from our croft if you prefer to dine out. We have arguably Scotland’s most beautiful beaches on our doorstep and plenty of activities, walks and places to visit. If you do get a spell of wild weather there’s a comfy sofa, a log fire and our well stocked bookshelf to explore.
